We're so excited for our first ever Mid-North Coast Youth Conference! This a chance for youth from all over the Mid North Coast to gather together to be encouraged, build community and grow deeper in their faith. The conference is for teenagers from Year 7 to 12 on Friday 30th July through to Sunday 1st August. MYC is being put on by the 5 'Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches' (FIEC) churches on the Mid-North Coast - Mannining Bible Church Taree, Coast EC Forster, Salt Community Church Bonny Hills, The Point Community Church Port Macquarie, and Anchor Church Coffs Harbour. We'll be staying at the Christian Youth Centre Scott's - a campsite directly opposite beautiful Scott's Head beach on the Mid-North Coast. Scott's Head is close to Macksville, about 45mins south of Coffs Harbour/an hour north of Port Macquarie.
We will be getting into the word together, looking at the topic of 'Identity' as we delve in to the book of Colossians with talks by Dale Brown (the new Youth Minister at The Point Community Church). We will also have small discussion groups and seminars looking at issues such as gender, sexuality and being a Christian at school. There will also be lots of free time for chilling out, meeting new people, games, food and fun.
We have some excellent cooks booked in who will be providing delicious food for us from Saturday breakfast through to Sunday lunch. Grab Friday dinner along the way as you head to the campsite.
