Youth

You’ll have a hard time trying to find the word ‘teenager’ in the Bible. It’s a category our society has invented, because we often don’t know what to do with people in between childhood and adulthood. At The Point we reckon that youth are young adults that are to be valued, taught, modelled Christ and utilised within our Church. We want to partner with parents to see a new generation growing up to love and serve Jesus with a passion!

Pointy-J: Pointy-J is our Youth Group. We play games (good ones, not lame ones), learn about Jesus and then eat some unhealthy food. We also have regular ‘out of the ordinary’ things happening during term as well (for the most recent program, go to the resources section of the website). Pointy-J is for those in years 6-12. It’s on Friday Nights with Juniors (6-8) meeting at 5:30pm-7:30pm and Seniors (9-12) at 7:00-9:00pm at Port Adventist School (500 Ocean Drive).

Youth Church: YouthChurch is age appropriate Bible teaching that runs during Sunday Morning Church, it's for those in years 6-8.
